Gladz pad care

After use give your Gladz pad a quick wash in the sink. If at home the Gladz pad can be kept soaking in a container (old 2L Ice cream containers work well) until your next laundry wash. If out and about, used pads can be rinsed in a sink and contained within our Gladz wet/dry bag until you are home again.

When it comes time to do your next laundry wash, just add your Gladz pads to the load (cold wash works best, and using a detergent with enzymes will help remove the blood protein). Once washed our Gladz pads can be air dried (outside on the line or inside on a rack).

Like any item of clothing, proper care will ensure you are able to use Gladz cloth pads for a long time. This being said, to avoid stains make sure you rinse and wash regularly (and soon) after use (don’t leave them sitting around for days). While Gladz cloth pads can be dried in an electric dryer (on lowest setting), it is recommended that they are air dried.
